@@galtemAll your patches sound like the real thing. Are you using any external effects or processing ? Which Triton model is it ? I played one once and it sounded very thin to my inexperienced ears

@@MrBeen992 Thank you! :-) No, its all stock sounds, base model Triton 61 key. I just do a lot of layering, lot of effects, and adding subtle lower octaves to the patch really brings out a lot of depth.

@@galtem Yeah, I have noticed that...on strings where I don't immediately recognize the pitch ..it's low ? It's high ? When actually is both in octaves

I thought the way he played it was interesting, with that inserted low note before what most people (including me) play as the 2nd note. Gives it a slightly different feel.

@@galtem OMD when they first started they were a bit short of money and transport, Gary helped them out , he didnt have to do it , but he realised their talent , very generous person Gary Numan. ps. Have you ever done (Down in the park on keyboards), thats great as well.

@@soniaellis163 No, never tried it, but I agree its a great song -- I like his first 3 albums a lot and many other songs throughout the rest of his catalog.

right side solo is A032, A104, and C092. Left side choruses is A032 and D120

@@buriedguy1582 Oh no, for sure, they are all different and have different sounds and can do different things.

@@buriedguy1582 Thank you :-) You can come close these days though -- software packages exist that have the sounds from most synthesizers -- you can buy it, have it on a computer, connect a MIDI controller to it and basically have every synth ever made, at least as far as the sounds go. I've never ventured into it; I stick to my Triton, it does what I need pretty well.

Totally agree, there's not a lot so far that I can't replicate reasonably well -- we're starting a Depeche Mode tribute -- thats probably been the biggest stretch creatively for me since all the sounds are very different, but still mainly in the synth pop genre. Surprisingly, I'm not using a lot of string sounds so far (which is normally my bread and butter), it's been more Lead sounds, which is cool to do something different with the keyboard.
